International Union of Muslim Scholars in Beirut has issued a statement to reject any relation or normalization of ties with Israeli regime.
Lebanese Muslim scholars in this statement squarely rejected any relation or normalization of ties with Tel Aviv regime, Beirut-based Almayadeen channel announced.
They voiced rejection of any justification for normalization of relations with occupying Israeli regime under the pretext of humanitarianism.
Part of the statement reiterated that there is no relation between Lebanon and the occupying institution, Zionist regime of Israel.
The statement added,” According to Lebanon’s constitution, occupying Israeli regime is an enemy of the country though there are people who intend to ignore the constitution and prepare the grounds for normalization of ties.”
Lebanese clerics reiterated that constitution is above all entities and that normalization will never be passed in the country.
International Union of Muslim Scholars was founded in 2004 in a join move by two Sunni clerics Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Abdullah bin Bayyah and Iranian Shia cleric Mohammad Vaez zadeh Khorasani.
