In the Name of God, the All-merciful the All-compassionate<\/p>\n

<\/strong>1- ‘In the name of God’,
\nthe word of those who hold fast to Him,
\nthe speech of those who seek His protection!
\nI seek refuge in God (high exalted is He) from
\nthe injustice of the unjust,
\nthe trickery of the enviers,
\nand the oppression of the wrongdoers,
\nand I praise Him beyond the praise of the praisers!<\/p>\n

2- O God,
\nThou art the One without partner,
\nand the King without having been made sovereign;
\nno one opposes Thee in Thy decree
\nand no one contests Thee in Thy kingdom!<\/p>\n

3- I ask Thee to
\nbless Muhammad and his Household,
\nThy servant and Thy messenger,
\ninspire me with a thanksgiving for Thy favours
\nwhich will take me to the utmost limit of Thy good pleasure,
\nhelp me through the gentleness of Thy solitude to obey Thee,
\nhold fast to worshipping Thee,
\nand deserve Thy reward,
\nhave mercy upon me,
\nbar me from acts of disobedience toward Thee
\nas long as Thou keepest me alive,
\ngive me success in what profits me
\nas long as Thou sparest me,
\nexpand my breast through Thy Book,
\nlessen my burden through its recitation,
\nbestow upon me health in my religion and my soul,
\nestrange not my intimates from me,
\nand complete Thy beneficence in what is left of my lifetime,
\njust as Thou hast shown beneficence
\nin that of it which has passed!
\nO Most Merciful of the merciful!<\/p>\n
