{"id":16344,"date":"2022-06-13T09:23:17","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T08:23:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/?p=16344"},"modified":"2022-06-13T09:23:17","modified_gmt":"2022-06-13T08:23:17","slug":"2022-arbaeens-slogan-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/16344\/2022-arbaeens-slogan-unveiled\/","title":{"rendered":"2022 Arbaeen\u2019s Slogan Unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"subtitle\">\u00a0Iranian authorities unveiled the slogan of this year\u2019s Arbaeen march in a ceremony in Tehran.<\/div>\n<div class=\"body ah_body\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am from Hussain\u201d is the slogan of this year\u2019s great march of Arbaeen.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Ahmadi, head of the cultural committee of Arbaeen, said that the slogan was chosen following numerous sessions held both in Iran and Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>After studying all the proposals, he said, it was decided that the slogan be part of a hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which reads \u201cHussain is from me and I am from Hussain\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The name of Imam Hussain (AS) is the key to our unity and victory and as we have witnessed insults to our holy Prophet (PBUH) in recent years, this year\u2019s slogan was chosen from one of his hadiths.<\/p>\n<p>Leader\u2019s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojat-ol-Islam Abdol Fattah Navab was another speaker at the event who said that the slogan has different aspects and was chosen with specific aims.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"image_btn img-responsive\" title=\"2022 Arbaeen\u2019s Slogan Unveiled\" src=\"https:\/\/iqna.ir\/files\/en\/news\/2022\/6\/13\/105461_786.jpg\" alt=\"2022 Arbaeen\u2019s Slogan Unveiled\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" align=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Arbaeen mourning ceremony is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.<\/p>\n<p>It marks the 40th day after Ashura, the martyrdom anniversary of the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Imam Hussein (AS). This year\u2019s Arbaeen falls on September 17.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, a huge crowd of Shias flock to Karbala, where the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) is located, to perform mourning rites.<\/p>\n<p>The pilgrims, mainly from Iraq and Iran, travel long routes on foot to the holy city.<\/p>\n<p>Some 3.2 million Iranians took part in the Arbaeen march in 2019 but this year the number is predicted to rise to an all-time high of over five million.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020 and 2021, the Arbaeen march was held in Iraq with a limited number of foreign pilgrims in attendance due to the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>source:<a href=\"https:\/\/iqna.ir\/en\/news\/3479282\/2022-arbaeen%E2%80%99s-slogan-unveiled\">iqna<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Iranian authorities unveiled the slogan of this year\u2019s Arbaeen march in a ceremony in Tehran. &nbsp; &nbsp; \u201cI am from Hussain\u201d is the slogan of this year\u2019s great march of Arbaeen.
