{"id":16431,"date":"2022-06-19T05:05:01","date_gmt":"2022-06-19T04:05:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/?p=16431"},"modified":"2022-06-19T05:05:01","modified_gmt":"2022-06-19T04:05:01","slug":"islams-view-sin-effects-sole-humans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/16431\/islams-view-sin-effects-sole-humans\/","title":{"rendered":"Islam\u2019s view on sin and its effects on sole of humans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Islam has divided sins into two categories: Major and minor sins, and has set specific rules for each.<\/p>\n<p>This division originates from the Qur&#8217;an and hadiths from the Prophet Muhammad and Ahl al-Bayt infallible household; and successors).<\/p>\n<p>In the language of the Qur&#8217;an and hadiths, sin is mentioned with different words, each of which reveals some of the evil effects of sin and indicates the variety of sin.<\/p>\n<p>While every sin is seen as an offense to Allah, the al-Kaba&#8217;ir are the gravest of the offenses.<\/p>\n<p>Scholars differ as to how many major sins there are. Different hadith list three, seven, 40 and 70 major sins.<\/p>\n<p>Some major sins in Islam include:<\/p>\n<p>01. Associating anything with ALLAH (Shirk)<\/p>\n<p>02. Despair of God&#8217;s mercy<\/p>\n<p>03. Murder<\/p>\n<p>04. Not Praying<\/p>\n<p>05. Not paying Zakat<\/p>\n<p>06. Disrespect to parents<\/p>\n<p>07.
