Appropriate modesty is a morality encouraged by religion.<\/p>\n
The Holy Prophet Mohammad (pbuh&hh) said:\u00a0\u201cMay Allah bestow His mercy on him who is modest to the Lord as he must be, who keeps both his mind and stomach safe from sin, who remembers his being worn out in his grave, and who reminds himself of his being raised in the hereafter.\u201d Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin (a.s.) said:\u00a0\u201cA believer does not do any good thing to be seen, nor does he give it up for modesty.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Imam Mohammad al-Baqir (a.s.) said:\u00a0\u201cModesty and faith are tied up together; they are always to be found together.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Imam Ja\u2019far al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:\u00a0\u201cModesty is a sign of faith; and faith takes you to paradise.\u201d He (a.s.) also said:\u00a0\u201cThe head of morality is modesty.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n He (a.s.) also said:\u00a0\u201cDo not abstain from learning because of modesty.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Imam Musa al-Kazim (a.s.) said:\u00a0\u201cSurely Allah has forbidden paradise to him who is impudent and abusive, who has no modesty, who cares neither about what he says nor about what is said on him.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nHe (pbuh&hh) also said:\u00a0\u201cModesty is of two kinds: The modesty of wisdom which brings knowledge and the modesty of foolishness which brings ignorance.\u201d

\nImam Ali (a.s.) the Commander of the Faithful said:\u00a0\u201cImpudence is the head of all evils.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nHe (a.s.) also said:\u00a0\u201cThere is no faith for him who has no modesty.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
