{"id":16670,"date":"2022-07-05T04:58:28","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T03:58:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/?p=16670"},"modified":"2022-07-05T04:58:28","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T03:58:28","slug":"ghadir-flag-arrives-holy-shrine-hazrat-abbas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/16670\/ghadir-flag-arrives-holy-shrine-hazrat-abbas\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghadir Flag Arrives at Holy Shrine of Hazrat Abbas"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"subtitle\">A delegation from the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) mausoleum arrived in the holy city of Karbala, bringing with them a blessed flag ahead of Eid al-Ghadir.<\/div>\n<div class=\"body ah_body\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The delegation delivered the flag, written on which is the phrase \u201cMan kunto maula fa-haaza &#8216;ali-yun maula (of whomsoever I am a master, this Ali is his master)\u201d to the officials of the Astan of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation also invited the head of the Astan of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine to attend a gathering next week to discuss ways to develop services to pilgrims.<\/p>\n<p>The Astan of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine has sent delegations to different cities of Iraq to gift blessed flags to holy places ahead of Eid al-Gahdir.<\/p>\n<p>The event of Ghadir, or Eid al-Ghadir, is celebrated by Shia Muslims around the world every year.
