{"id":17646,"date":"2022-11-14T05:01:55","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T05:01:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/?p=17646"},"modified":"2022-11-14T05:01:55","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T05:01:55","slug":"muslim-boy-outperforms-einstein-hawking-iq-test","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiastudies.com\/en\/17646\/muslim-boy-outperforms-einstein-hawking-iq-test\/","title":{"rendered":"Muslim Boy Outperforms Einstein, Hawking in IQ Test"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"subtitle\">An 11-year-old British Muslim boy has outscored the IQ of genius scientists Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.<\/div>\n<div class=\"body ah_body\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Yusuf Shah, an 11-year-old from Leeds, has scored 162 on an IQ test, outperforming geniuses Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, the Metro reported.<\/p>\n<p>Achieving the maximum IQ for under-18s, he is in the top one percentile of the population.<\/p>\n<p>The year six student\u2019s score compares to that of world-renowned physicists Hawking and Einstein, who are thought to have scored 160.<\/p>\n<p>Shah told the Metro that he decided to take the Mensa test after constantly being told how smart he was by his friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have always wanted to know if I was in the top two percent of people who take the test,\u201d he explained<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt feels special to have a certificate for me and about me,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Shah told the Metro that he loves doing anything that stimulates his brain and enjoys sudoku puzzles and solving Rubik\u2019s cubes.<\/p>\n<p>The math whiz began playing with the iconic cubes in January and cracked them in just one month.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate his achievement, Shah went to chicken restaurant chain Nando\u2019s with his parents and brothers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was so proud. He is the first person to take the Mensa test in the family,\u201d his mother Sana said.<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cI was actually a little concerned too. He has always gone into a hall full of kids to take tests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe thought he might be intimidated by the adults at the center.
