About 70% of Americans said they are \u201canxious\u201d or \u201cfrustrated\u201d about Election Day, according to a new poll Thursday.<\/p>\n
The poll by The Associated Press-NORC Research Center showed Democrats and Republicans tend to have similar emotions about the election.<\/p>\n
Democrats, however, are more likely to be \u201canxious\u201d compared to Republicans.<\/p>\n
Independents are just as frustrated but \u201cless excited, less interested, and less anxious\u201d than their partisans, according to the poll.<\/p>\n
Black adults feel \u201cmore excitement\u201d about the contest between Vice President Kamala Harris and former US President and Republican nominee Donald Trump than white adults and are \u201cless likely\u201d than white adults to feel \u201cfrustrated or anxious\u201d about the campaign, it said.<\/p>\n
