This is a statistical tie similar to the 29% support each candidate received in CAIR\u2019s late August survey.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.shafaqna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Untitled-2.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-387767 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/en.shafaqna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Untitled-2.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.shafaqna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Untitled-2.png 690w, https:\/\/en.shafaqna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Untitled-2-300x170.png 300w, https:\/\/en.shafaqna.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Untitled-2-585x332.png 585w\" alt=\"\" width=\"690\" height=\"392\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CAIR\u2019s poll of 1,449 verified Muslim voters conducted from Oct. 30 \u2013 Oct. 31 using a national voter file also shows that ten percent support former president Donald Trump (Republican Party), nearly the same as the 11% support he received in the August poll. Only five percent of respondents currently do not plan to vote, almost no voters remain undecided, and one percent support Chase Oliver (Libertarian Party). Based on a confidence interval of 95%, the margin of error is +\/- 2.5 percentage points.<\/p>\n<h4>In a close race, tens of thousands of Muslim voters in Michigan may prove crucial for outcome of election in USA<\/h4>\n<p>Abdullah Hammoud , mayor of the Detroit suburb of Dearborn, appeared clear-eyed about the future of the city known as the capital of Arab America and the way forward for its bereaved community amid Israel\u2019s war on Gaza and Lebanon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a blanket of grief that has just covered this community, and people are just trying to manage, obviously, amidst the entirety of the presidential election with the backdrop of a genocide, the war in Lebanon, the bombing in Yemen and so on,\u201d Hammoud told Al Jazeera.<\/p>\n<p>Hammoud, one of the most prominent Arab American elected officials in the United States who served in the State Legislature as a Democrat, has not endorsed any of the candidates, urging residents to \u201cvote their conscience\u201d instead.<\/p>\n<p>In a close race, the tens of thousands of Arab voters in Dearborn \u2013 a city of 110,000 people \u2013 and across Michigan may prove crucial for the outcome\u00a0of the election\u00a0in the state and possibly the country.<\/p>\n<h4>Poll: Most Americans \u2018anxious\u2019, \u2018frustrated\u2019 about presidential campaign<\/h4>\n<p>About 70% of Americans said they are \u201canxious\u201d or \u201cfrustrated\u201d about Election Day, according to a new poll Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The poll by The Associated Press-NORC Research Center showed Democrats and Republicans tend to have similar emotions about the election.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats, however, are more likely to be \u201canxious\u201d compared to Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>Independents are just as frustrated but \u201cless excited, less interested, and less anxious\u201d than their partisans, according to the poll.<\/p>\n<p>Black adults feel \u201cmore excitement\u201d about the contest between Vice President Kamala Harris and former US President and Republican nominee Donald Trump than white adults and are \u201cless likely\u201d than white adults to feel \u201cfrustrated or anxious\u201d about the campaign, it said.<\/p>\n<p>source:<a href=\"https:\/\/en.shafaqna.com\/387763\/2-5-million-american-muslim-voters-are-positioned-to-play-crucial-role-in-shaping-usa-political-landscape\/\"> shafaqna<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the 2024 United States presidential election election approaches, America\u2019s estimated 2.5 million Muslim voters are positioned to once again play a crucial role in shaping the political landscape.
