Now surely the mastership of \u2018Ali is my mastership, and my mastership is the mastership of my Lord. Do the Muslims have a festivity other than the two \u2018Eid celebrations?\u201d The Imam (peace be upon him) replied, \u201cYes O\u2019 Hasan! (There is one) greater than these two and much worthier than them.\u201d The companion replied, \u201cAnd what day is that?\u201d The Imam said, \u201cThe day upon which Amirul Mo\u2019minin [\u2018Ali ibn Abi Talib] (peace be upon him) was appointed as the flag (of guidance) for the people.\u201d The companion then asked, \u201cMay I be sacrificed for you!
