Ayatollah Yazdi, Iran’s senior cleric passed away
Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, the chairman of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, passed away.
The late Ayatollah Yazdi was born in 1931, one of the old students of Imam Khomeini (as), who during the Islamic movement often
endured the taste of exile and imprisonment against the tyrannical regime, and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he had various
responsibilities including chairman of the Assembly of Experts, member of the Assembly of Experts, Chief Justice of Iran, member of the
Parliament of Iran, and member of Assembly of Experts for the Constitution.
