Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi passed away at the age of 86.

Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute (RA), confirmed this news in announcements a few minutes ago.

The statement reads: “Moments ago, the high and heavenly spirit of the revolutionary jurist, the philosopher and Mujahid, Ayatollah Allameh Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi, joined passed away.

According to news, Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi had been hospitalized in a hospital in Tehran since Saturday (December 26th) due to a worsening of his gastrointestinal illness, and died this evening at the age of 86.
