The second international congress honoring ‘Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi’ also known as “Master of Thought” was held on Saturday, 31 December 2022.
Ayatollah Mohammad-Taqi Mesbah-Yazdi was an Iranian Shia cleric, philosopher, and political theorist who served as the spiritual leader of the ‘Front of Islamic Revolution Stability’.
The congress hosted Iran’s President, Ebrahim Raisi, along with several domestic and foreign intellectual, religious, military, and administrative figures.
Professor Muhammad Legenhausen, a key guest at the congress delivered a lecture to describe Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Misbah Yazdi’s character.
Also, specialized commissions for philosophy and theology, religions and mysticism, philosophy of religion, law and political science, Quran and Hadith, Educational Sciences, Psychology, Ethics, and Economics were among the sideline events of the Congress.
Ayatollah Mesbah passed away on 1 January 2021.
