Chinese translation of Quran at Bahraini Quranic center

A copy of a Quran translation in the Chinese language is kept at the Bait-ul-Quran Center in Bahrain.
 
It is a rendering of all 30 Juzes (parts) of the Quran into Chinese, 1,000 copies of which have been printed.

The printed copies gave been distributed as gifts among Muslims in China.

The original manuscript copy of the translation is now kept in a museum in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan.

The Quran translation includes an index of the verses of the Quran and their subjects.

There is also an appendix featuring the interpretation of some of words and concepts of the Holy Book.

Hajj Abdul Rahman Chan Ji Tuan is the one who did this rendering of the Quran.

Islam has been practiced in China since the 7th century CE. Muslims are a minority group in China, representing 10% (around 140 million) of the total population.

Some estimate that the total Muslim population in China is at least 150 million.
