Sheikh Abdolvahed Khajavi, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Shiraz, on Saturday condemned a deadly terrorist attack on a Shia religious site in the city calling for severe penalty of those behind the attack.
He expressed hope that the government and the Islamic system will severely punish the perpetrators of this incident
A terrorist gunman opened fire on the worshippers at Shah Cheragh holy shrine in Shiraz, southern Iran, on Wednesday, killing 15, including two children, and wounding 27 others.
Three days of public mourning was announced in Shiraz following the incident.
