One of the recommended deeds on this noble day is fasting,which has been emphasized in many narratives and has been rewarded with many.Notice some of the narrations in the preponderance of Ghadir’s fast:
I heard from Imam Sadiq (A.S), saying: the reward of the fasting day of Ghadir Kum is equal to the fasting of the life of the world.If a person lives the lifetime and fasting ;his reward is equivalent to Ghadir’s fasting. fasting of Ghadir’s day unto Allah is equal to the reward of one hundred Hajj and one hundred acceptable Umrah. And that is the greatest Eid of God.
“Iftar giving” Iftar is the meal they eat to break their fast,at sunset
Of the recommended deeds on the day of Ghadir,Iftar is giving fasting believers.Iftar has a lot of rewards and,thankfully,is one of the bestoweds among believers,But the same as many of the recommended deeds on the day of Ghadir are more rewarding,Iftar giving on this day also has a greater reward.
