The full text of the Leader’s message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Anthems are one of the precious artistic means that help to spread intellectual and practical values. The exquisite combination of poetry, sound and rhythm in a group performance is the secret behind the exceptional influence that religious and national anthems have throughout the world. Praise God, Iranian’s talent, taste and artistic skill have been able to advance our dear country to be one of the finest in this field.
Now, I would like to thank all those who work in promoting anthems. I recommend they be selective in choosing these three components of anthems that I have mentioned. In addition, they must avoid following others, since this is harmful. I also recommend that they choose subjects that include Islamic, revolutionary and national values.
