That Which Completes Faith (2)
The merciful prophet of Islam, peace be upon him and his household says:
لا يَسْتَكمِلُ عبدٌ الإيمانَ حتّى يُحِبَّ لأخيهِ ما يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ، وحتّى يَخافَ اللَّهَ في مِزاحِهِ وجِدِّهِ.
‘A servant’s faith is incomplete until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself, and until he fears Allah both in times of jesting as well as seriousness.’
