A glance at Mohamed Abdollahian’s academic biology
Mr. Mohammad Abdollahian was born in 1337 H.S in a village near Mashhad. He moved to Mashhad at the age of eight. In 1350, he traveled to the seminary of Mashhad to study religious studies and during his eight years he was benefited from great professors in the field of basic studies and high levels of interpretation of the Quran and some of Kharij level. In 1979, along with the victory of the Islamic Revolution he continued studying under the teachings of the great scholars of Qom Seminary, and thirty-three years he was taught by great professors.
The fields of study and his professors in Mashhad and Qom are:
1-Introductory lessons and high levels. He, with all his efforts, has completed it for about five years and has benefited from the professors of the seminary of Mashhad, including: Ayatullah Haj Sheikh Ali Agha Falsafi, Ayatollah Seyed Hussein Shams, Ayatollah Hassan Ali Morvarid, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi Shahroudi, and Ayatollah Rezazadeh and Sayyid Abdulkarim Hasheminejad.
2- Interpretation of Quran. In Mashhad, from the classes of Ayatollah Mirza Javad Aqa Tehrani for four years.
3-the Kharij level of Fiqh and Osul, participating in the lessons of great scholars like: Sheikh Ali Agha Falsafi, Seyyed Ibrahim Alam al-Hoda Sabzevari, Seyyed Hossein Shams, Sheikh Hossein Vahid Khorasani, Sheikh Hosein Ali Montazeri, Sheikh Javad Tabrizi, Sheikh Mohammad Fazel Lankarani, Sheikh Mohammad Ali Araki, Seyed Mohammad Reza Mousavi Golpayegani.
4-Philosophy and Wisdom. He studied books like: the description of the Manzumeh of Sabzevari, the book of Asfar of Mulla Sadra and Shifa of Avicenna and some other philosophical books with great professors of wisdom and philosophy, such as Ayatullah Ansari Shirazi, Ayatullah Javadi Amoli, and Allameh Hasanzadeh Amoli and Ayatollah Seyyed Reza Sadr.
5-Theoretical and practical mysticism. He also succeeded, with great patience, the mystical books of Tamhid al-Qawad ibn Turkah, the preliminaries and descriptions of Fusus al-Hikam of Qaisari and Mesbah al-Ons of Fanarei, under the teachings of Allameh Hasanzadeh Amoli, and Seyyid Jalal al-Din Ashtiani.
In the early 1950s, the hope for the victory of the Islamic Revolution in the hearts of youth and young clergies was flaming.
The presence of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in the seminary and the holy city of Mashhad led him to hold meetings on the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an and the religious issues that led to religious activities and studies. It was done. Hence, Mr. Abdollahian’s interest in social and political issues of Islam and the great enthusiasm for getting to know the spirit of Islam and the Qur’anic verses led to a close proximity to Ayatollah Khamenei, and with his suggestion, private meetings (mainly in the home of his father), in which some of Mashhad’s seminary scholars benefited from Ayatollah Khamenei were held. In these sessions, the discussions of worldview, cognition and anthropology and systematic attitude towards the religion of Islam as a harmonious collection and the knowledge of the Holy Qur’an as a guiding book, which is present at all times and in the light of human life, were being posed.
Since the 1360s, the Quranic activities between him and Allameh Mohammad Reza Hakimi caused them to become familiar. It should be noted that this connection was the cause of a deeper understanding of the teachings of the Ahlul-Bayt (AS) and the school of Tafkik and comprehensiveness and the vast dimensions of the narrations and hadiths of the infallible Imams (AS), and also made him aware of certain spiritual matters and the paths of another type, and especially the magnificence and virtue, and some of the instructions and descriptions of chapter Yasin. Professor Abdullahiyan considers this relationship and its fruits to be one of his highest honors and a turning point in his life.
Mr. Mohammad Abdollahian holds the following courses and studies in the fields of the following sciences and knows such information as the result of his presence in the seminary of Qom: public sociology, public psychology, recognition of world spy systems, general history of contemporary Iran and the world, public administration and human resources, application of statistics in management, physiology and anatomy of the human body, recognition of western philosophical outflows, general and Islamic economics, study skills and fast-reading techniques, specialized studies in the field of ethics, interpretation and practical mysticism.
During the years of attending the seminary of Mashhad and Qom, this great success of Allah has continued along with them, which in the fields of Fiqh, Osul, philosophy and wisdom, interpretation and ethics, caused him to have thoughts and researches, and to consider the scientific lessons and discussions of these matters as the head of his affairs, and he has taught many books to the lovers of science and knowledge, and now he has set the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an as his main program, as well as the ethics and teaching of Fiqh and Osul, and thus the scholars of the religious sciences have been benefited from his speeches and statements.
One of his best and most blessed acts is founding the institute of Imam Reza (a.s) Islamic studies through which he could pave the way for the clergies to become familiar with new studies and needed knowledge and many Quranic studies, and this institute also has some Quranic magazines including Bayyenat, Besharat etc. He also has many scientific and cultural essays.
